Question about Cars & Trucks
I try to put in my work address and it is not a choice on the list. I've tried putting in the city first. It tells me there are "no cities within 20 miles" huh? Is this a simple reset? Can I take off the auto complete when requesting an address? I'm very frustrated.
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.

Hello Robert. Do not let the car get more than one quart low before you add more oil. Carry it with you so you can add it when needed. That said, there are several possibilities. It could be that the valve cover or another gasket is leaking. If that is the case there would be oil in the engine compartment on some of the surfaces. The dealer should be able to find this leak.
Engine oil leaks can cause the car serious engine damage when they are not detected early. An engine oil leak normally seeps out of the car via the engine. The user of the leaking vehicle or his mechanic should therefore first establish the exact area of the engine oil leak. Most of the time engine oil leaks are caused by neglect on the part of the user. The user/mechanic can check underneath the engine with a bright torch.
Engine oil is usually easy to identify due to its distinct odor which smells like burnt oil. If the oil leaking from underneath the car is black in color, the user should know that that it is an oil leak and not likely to be the other fluids of the car. Possible areas to examine for the engine oil leaks include the oil filter compartment, cork gaskets, and the oil pan plugs. Once you know the possible areas to look at for the oil leak, the job of repairing the leak becomes easy. Joe

Wow, that's amazing....I do know the newer (third generation) 'L' have a body computer, it sounds like your's has gone loco. the security system and the horrible gas mileage also might be some major issue with the electrical system, specifically the alternator-check voltage while parked and not running (should be 12.5+), and running it should be close to 15 when started, and settle down to around 14 after a minute or 2.
