SOURCE: cabin Air Filter

Open the glove box

Remove all of the contents in the glove box

On the right side, dis-engage the rod going to the split plastic pin on the glove box door

Squeeze both other sides of the glove box to defeat the stops that keeps the glove box from falling open

Observe the box in the area vacated by letting the glove box drop down, this is the heater box

Locate a rectangular cover (approx 7 " x 2"), it is located on the face of the box; facing you.

Pull this cover out towards you, the cabin air filter is located in the tray that is connected to this rectangular cover.

This should help you replace it.

ok, some cars , even same year it's and optional part.
the FSM tells you where it is and how to replace it.
if pressent many are changed buy removing glove box door.
alldata.com,
open chapter HVAC
and read.
it can only be in 1 place, mostly, and that is the heater A/C junction box point. just look there, and see it.

what you have, can vary .
no country stated.
some export chevys, have export HVAC system.
same at toyota in spades.

japan toys, or usa built toys are DIFFERent in many ways.
and HVAC is one.

Car will only start, with a gas prime, and idles but dies if put into gear

Have you checked fuel pressure ?
Have you replaced the fuel filter when you replaced the pump ?
These things and more would need to be checked if you haven't already done so.
And what is the year and model ?

I have a 2004 saturn ion and it won't start. I think it's gas related. Where and how do I replace gas sensors/filters or fuel pump? What do I try and replace first? How do I I tell which is bad?

If you haven't replaced the fuel filter in the last year or so, do it now-basic maintenance.
Check if the pump is working by turning key to ON (not crank), and listen for the pump in the tank to come on for a couple of seconds. Should hear a short hum or buzz verifying tank is working. If you don't hear it come on, either the pump is bad, or power is not reaching it. May have to pull the pump connector off at tank, and check for 12 volts on pump wire when someone cranks the car. If power there, the pump must be bad. If no power there at pump, check fuses for pump and fuel pump relay.

Ford F350 460 gas. Runs on the level and downhill but seems to starve for gas uphill.

I suggest if you haven't replaced the fuel filter do so, it sounds like your filter is dirty, this restricts fuel pressure and will cause the symptom you have. The filter is on the inside of the fram rail on the drivers side, see picture of filter below.

I have a 1988 Camry with 57000 original miles on it. At low idle, it stalls occasionally. Is there a way to turn up the idle to mitigate the stalling? SB

I don't believe so. Try removing the air filter and see if this helps. If it does replace it. also replace the fuel filter if you haven't done it within the last 9 to 12 months. Tune up?

Have replaced the starter solenoid, spark plugs, plug wires, fuel filter, air filter, water pump and battery all within the last two months. When the truck gets hot it will not crank. Has electrical power,...

If you haven't already done so, replace the distributor cap and rotor. There is most likely corrosion inside the cap that is causing a crossfire condition.

This is a common problem on that engine.

Don't know why being hot would aggravate it, but start with the cap.

96 4runner charcoal canister buzzing when parked.

Hi my name is Mike ! that buzzing is the purging vapors from your fuel tank ,most of the toyota's doit in certain year ranges ,its perfectly safe just annoying ,Toyota came up for a fix for it they have a kit you can purchase from the dealer ,it gives you a new hose and a small chamber to install to stop the noise but really it is not a problem other than the buzzing ,I think it sounds almost like a frog under the hood when it does that ,sounds funny huh !
