You must remove the entire dash of the truck to replace the AC evaporator core. This is not really a do at home job. Time to complete is about 14 hours. You need special tools and a factory repair manual to get it all back together correctly.

The air fuel ratio sensor is located in the exhaust manifold before the convertor. It looks like a o2 sensor.

What would cause the VSC light, check engine light and 4 wheel drive light to come on all of a sudden.

the code should be P0442 which says that it has an air leak, leak somewhere in the evaporative control system with the gas cap being the most likely place for that to happen. However, it can be anywhere within the EVAP control system such as one of the hoses. . .Could be the Intake Air Temperature (IAT) sensor? It measures the temperature of the air going into the engine and is used to adjust the fuel mixture.

What do I need to do to replace evaporator of air condition of 1999 toyota rav4

You need to remove the entire dash assembly. You will need a factory service manual and specialty equipment to recover the AC system charge and then recharge the AC system. You will also need a factory repair manual, you can download here for a small fee.

Check engine light stays on, service code is p0446

(Restricted/Blocked EVAP Vent Path)
Dirt and dust intrusion into the EVAP canister vent hose assembly, resulting in restricted air flow, may cause this condition.

Replace the existing EVAP canister vent hose assembly with a new assembly

Air Condition

It sounds like the a/c relay is going out. change it out and see if this gets it going again. They usually only cost about $8 to $10 so it wont break the bank. Hope this helps. Good luck.
