SOURCE: 2001 pt cruiser no heat

did you check the fluid level by removing the rad. cap? Radiator should be full to top. If Chryslers are low on coolant, the heater will not blow warm air.

SOURCE: 2001 pt cruiser

I recently had the same problem with my car. The solution for me was to remove the coolant lines going into the firewall(be sure to let it cool down first)and blow out the heater core with compressed air.I went from blowing barely luke warm air to awesome heat...good luck

SOURCE: I have a 2008 pt cruiser. The engine light is on

My PT cruiser is a couple of years older, but I had the same problem. Drove fine, but start-up was erratic for several weeks. By the time  AAA arrived, it usually was working fine. But when it suddenly  started "struggling for power on the freeway and further along on the same trip, lurching (on a city avenue) I drove straight to my mechanic. It WAS the same sensor . . . and car has been driving perfectly ever since he changed it.

I have a 2008 PT cruiser; about three weeks ago the tire pressure light came on. When I went to fill my tires I noticed one of the tires would fill up to 30 then go down to 20 in a matter of minutes.

Check to see if the valve stem has been properly fitted to the rim,I see this happen all the time on a lot of cars, if the valve stem is improperly mounted it would cause the air to leak out hence you said it goes from 30 to 20 in a matter of minutes..have them all check just to make sure..if your rims are badly rusted which I don't think they could be on a 2008 but if they are that could also be a big problem, easy as switching the tires to different rims could be the solution..have them also check wear patterns to make sure the weight of the car isn't puttin pressure on a potential defect in the stem :) hope this helps..

Where is tire pressure located pt cruiser?

I am going to assume you mean what is the recommended tire pressure for that vehicle. Typically the recommended pressure if 32 PSI but that also depends on the tire. There is normally a small data sticker or data place on the inside of the front drivers door seal area that identifies this data as well.

My pt cruiser is showing a warning symbol that is yellow and looks like a U with an exclamation mark inside. what does this mean?

Its a gage to tell you when the tire presure is low. One or more than one of your tires is low.

When shifting into Drive there a yellow (!)

The ! (sits in a U shaped icon) indicates uneven or low tire pressure. This could also contribute to the steering wheel shaking, although that usually indicates tires out of balance or suspension out of alignment.

Put air in the tires. That light shows up when the tire pressue is low. Fill to what pressue shows on your tire and replace the cap. Should go off the next time you start it.

it could be the type of tires. depending upon tread design an purpose of tire. ie mud and snow, high performance. i would ck to see if the tires are directional. if they are and someone unwittingly rotated the wrong it would do this. you should be able to tell by looking at the sidewall. there should be an arrow showing proper rotation.

I have the same problem and got an advice to check air pressure in all tires. Did this but nothing seems to change. I'm thinking to take my Cruiser to American Tires to have it checked.
Have you find out what was a problem with your car?
