Rpm is high and when i open the ac the car go off when i brake

your rpm is to high adjust your normal idle to .85 when a/c adjust the actuator to reach rpm .95 approximately but be sure not over to 1.

Why does my truck backfire thru the carborater when it is hot outside?

A backfire is caused when your intake valve/s aren't closing completely before ignition in the cylinder. This ignites any fuel/air mixture left in the intake manifold. Fine tune your timing.

This sounds like a problem with the fuel pump. I would suggest that you check the fuel pressure. it should be 60psi. If not...fuel pump most likely the problem.

My old VW polo wont start on cold mornings, it turns over (just) but then dies. However it will start if I try later on when the day has warmed up.

it prob needs the carborater adjusted or the choke on the carb

I have a 1979 Cj5 and it keeps push too much gas into the carborater how do i slow the flow down?

Adjust your mixture screws. If you're not mechanically inclined take it to a shop. Worst case scenario you need your carb rebuilt if the float is toast.

Back fires through carborater at high speed

mcdevito75 here, Either you have a worn / burnt / cracked intake valve, worn timeing chain / belt or the ignition system needs to be checked and adjusted. The shop has the tools and equipment to help you out.

start with a tune up, (air filter ,spark plugs, plug wires ext)..adjust carborater(air fuel mixture could be off)

The 1989 Jeep did not come with a Carb it was throttle body injected and the motor should be a 4.0. let us know what motor it is.
