All windows wont work in 01 aurora

Check fuses first. Next look at the connections/wiring starting with the drivers side door. Drivers side is the master, so if it doesn't work, usually the remaining doors will not work either.

I have a 1999 Olds Aurora. It ocasionally will not start. There is no problem with the battery or starter. When you turn the key the dash lights up but nothing happens. Its as if the ignition switch...

does the DIC say "Clean Key - Wait 3 Minutes"? If so, your PASS-Key II anti theft system is starting to act up. I had the same problem in my 99 Aurora for years, until I bypassed the key resistor with a resistor pack. Google "PASS-Key II Bypass" and you should find others with the same issue. Check this link out.
I went to RadioShack, bought a package of different resistors for ~$10, used an ohmmeter to measure the key resistor (they differ from car to car) and then made a resistor "pack" to mimic the key resistor. Now the tricky part is that you have to take off the dash panel under the steering wheel, cut the resistor sensor wires from the ignition switch, and then solder the resistor pack in between the cut wires. Basically you're fooling the system that the key is in the ignition. It hasn't been completely fool proof (when the car is really hot in the summer, sometimes I still have the same problem - may need more temperature stable resistors), but it has been SO MUCH better than before I did the bypass.
Hope this helps, and good luck!

WHERE CAN U FIND THE STARTER FOR THIS VEHICLE the car is not starting, and the mechanic says that it needs a new starter

On the 01 Aurora (gen 2) the starter in under the intake manifold. You need to remove the fuel rails and the intake to get to it. Actually not too bad of a job to do.

01 AURORA overheating after driving for 45mins to 1 hr. have

remove expansion tank cap (if fitted) take off the highest hose clip in the system and fill from there if you have an air lock in the system it will be obvious...after connecting back up, fill tank with neat anti freeze.(if tank is higher than hose, fill tank as air is expelled from the pipe.)

Car dying while driving, DIC readouts incorrect

Start out by checking the connections on your battery and the connection next to the fuse block under the hood.
It is possible that this is a bad ignition switch, however if that were the case you would not see the DIC setting reset. DIC setting reset is indicative of a total power loss.
