Question about 2001 Ford Focus
Had to replace the battery, but radio is now asking for a 4 digit code, know how to put it in but dunno where to find it!! where can i get the serial number and try it from that?
That 4 digit code is not a serial # it is a 4 digit anti theft code witch is usually set by factory so usually if you have the original manual for car the code should be written in there some where usually

SOURCE: need radio code for 1999
The serial number is on a label at the back of the radio. With this model you must remove the radio from the dash to find it.
If it is a European Ford the serial will look like M123456. You can try this site for the code once you have the serial as they are cheap and reliable for decoding Fords.
Otherwise your local dealer will get you this code for around £25.
See video below for instructions on removing the radio.
