The after market CHMSL ( Center High Mount Stop Lamp ) is in the wire harness bundle on the driver's side frame rail, under the plastic cover. Some have found it easier to get to it in the driver's side kick panel. When you pull up the driver's side door sill, pull the carpet back, and you will find the grommet for getting into the cab of the truck

Look out under hood on drivers side for a power relay these are known to blow.If its blown it will not allow any power to the ignition system at all.It should be in a fuse panel under the hood.

i have aproblem with my xlt thunderon a 54 plate the glow plug fuse blows (60a) not on start on journey home , i changed the plugs 2 months ago,the relay seems to be working, at the moment i start with a fuse in then remove the fuse moments later .once warm the truck will start without fuse in can anybody help ?
