SOURCE: 2000 chevy impala, air conditioning does not work

It sounds like the blower resistor needs to be replaced and the blower motor it self. Auto Zone will have the blower and resistor that you need to replace and will have the step by step instructions for you to get the job done with common tools and will take about 2 hours if your good with tools. Good luck and keep me posted. Setting 5 should have 12 volts running to the blower motor so check the wire harness for voltage readings at the blower motor harness clip, you may only just need a new blower motor.

I've 2000 Mercedes Benz ML 320.One night I backed up & parked in the Garage the next morning it won't go forward. I noticed the that REAR WHEEL on passenger side was locked up. What's

The only suggestion is to place the vehicle on
stands & remove the wheel to check out the issue

To speculate from the internet-- is just that.

To have something happen while you sleep
is odd,so I would be inclined to go with something
like an electronic parking brake issue,if that applies

Overheating, Mild Leak, Hot coolant temp warning and signal

All cooling systems are "pressurized" recovery systems on vehicle..........since fuel injection is the norm. Older carbureted cars ran at about 182 - 186 degrees. Newer (over mid 1980's) commonly are fuel injected WITH PRESSURIZED cooling systems. The 1st place to look on small leaks, is almost always, the Radiator cap. If it does not hold pressure in, the pressure from engine operation, will push the fluid out & it will evaporate. Start there.

My 2002 3.4v6 chevy impala stalls out when it hot out and will have to wait about 20 min before its starts up again

Check Fuel Pressure with a gauge when it does run

Fuel Pump may be failing

Check that the Cooling Fans come on
& it isn't going into fail-safe, if that applies

Check coolant, not just look at recovery tank
Remove radiator cap & look

Have to have your car checked over once
or twice a year at a repair shop

Not just wait for break down maintainance

2001 Impala TPMS reset, radio and headlight options DONT WORK

CHEVY IMPALA &
MONTE CARLO

On a Chevy Impala or Monte Carlo with indirect TPMS, a totally different reset procedure is required. You can use the light switch or radio to reset the system. With the light switch procedure, turn the ignition on (engine off), the turn the light switch from OFF to parking lamps three times within five seconds. With the radio technique, turn the ignition on (engine off). With the radio off, hold the DISP button until “SETTINGS” is displayed. Use the SEEK button to scroll down the menu until you see “TIRE MON.” Press the PREV or NEXT buttons until “RESET” is displayed. Then press the DISP button again. You should hear a chime and see “DONE” to indicate the TPMS system has been successfully reset. Use the SEEK button to scroll through the menu until “DONE” is shown, then press DISP once more to exit from the learn mode.

Replacing fuel filter 2000 impala

Disconect battery and releive the fuel pressure by opening gas cap and under hood with fuel pressure tester. then you need two open ended wrenches.. Go to driver side rear tire and just in front of the tire about a foot under the car you will see the fuel filter remove filter mounting bracket apply one wrench to filter nut and one to fuel line side and turn oposite directions, might want to spray with some penetrating oil fist to break loose, then remove plastic clip from other side of the fuel filter and it should come right out.

ML 430 gear lever sticking hard in park position. When it does release everything works perfectly. Is this likely to be mechanical or electrical based fault? My thanks in advance, Richard.

Richard,
I will asume that you may be parking on an embankment when you encounter this problem?

When a transmission has trouble coming out of park you could have a wide variety of issues to sort out, but its always best to rule them out one at a time. Try applying the parking break when you park on any grade of incline above 10 degrees or more. The vehicle may actually be rolling after you disengage the foot brake, therfore applying a large amount of pressure on the transmission making it difficult to get it "up" out of the park possition. other wise, if te problem continues, you may need to have the connection from the shifter knob to the transmission checked by a certified transmission specialist.
hint: find a little garage somewhere that you trust and theyll probably check it for little to no cost.

GOOD LUCK!! :D

Toyota Camry 2000, break problem inconsistent

Could be a number of things. A lot of times the ABS sensors at the wheels get dirty. This is due to them being magnetic and a lot of brake pads are semi metallic so the dust sticks to the sensors and makes them fuction a little weird. Have someone clean the sensors. I try to pressure wash them everytime I wash the car. Hope this helps.
