Well is the idle air control bad? do you have enough coolant? as this vehicle idle is coolant based as well as throttle body positioning sensor.but you may have a nice vacuum leak too when you replaced you head you may have left some gasket material in between the intake manifold or air plenum causing an incorrect sealing/ leak, and also valve timing needs to be checked may need to relap/regap the best bet is to follow your repair manuals troubleshooting section and the process of elimination good luck!

When a timing belt goes out on a 1994 Honda Accord LX I was told that this year of Honda it would damage the heads is this true?

Honda's have whats called an interference fit where the valves can contact the piston tops if the belt fails while the engine is running as when most failures occur, so I would say that it is true. Keep your timing belts changed at the recommended interval.

1994 honda accord distributor not turning

you mean to say the distributor rotor doesnt turn? if thats the case you either have a broken camshaft, broken timing belt or broken distributor drive, better pull out the distributor and see if the cam turns when you crank the motor...

1994 honda accord won't start and has no spark

Check your coil and ignition module and ignition module fuse. this is a primary ignition problem for sure. check the primary resistance side of the coil it should be between 1 and 3 ohms. Also are you sure you put your cam gear at the exact mark it shoul be at and not 180 degrees off, otherwise car won't start.

Wont idle

put the crank at TDC and the cam gear and TDC slip the belt on adjust the tensioner and then rotate the engine two times make sure the timing marks are still lined up then put it back together and try it if you have the timing off it wont idle right and if could also be the throttle positioning sensor
