Those look to be blend door codes you could try resetting them, does the heater make a clicking sound? If that is so the blend door actuator is bad and needs replacing.

u mite have to bleed it at the outlet hose from the heater core on the firewall
as systems have so much coolant routing through so many hoses that just bleeding at the bleeder won't do it

I changed thermostat on 2005 buick rendevous ultra 3.6l. still have no heat. whats next?


Was lack of heat in the cabin the only reason you changed the thermostat? Were the radiator hoses hot (or very warm) to the touch before you changed the thermostat? Were the heater hoses hot before you changed the thermostat? Did you get a check engine light and code stating that the engine was not getting (or slow getting) to operating temperature?
Getting heat from your heater depends on a blend door actuator letting air flow through the heater core in the HVAC unit. If your radiator hoses are hot, your heater hoses are hot, and you have no trouble code indicating the engine is not getting to operating temperature, but you are not getting heat inside the car, you need to check your blend door actuator or the control unit for the heater.

I changed the thermostat but it still does not heat up what else could be wrong


Heater needs Heater Core, Heater control valve, air diverter inside the car and hot water in the heater core. If you just change the thermostat you must have had a reason. If the car was running hot it could be a radiator clog. If the core is clogged no heat. If the heater core was drained when you changed the Tstat there may be air in it - if so no heat. If the control valve (on the heater hose) does not shift- no heat. If the diverter door in under the dash does not direct the fan air through the heater core- no heat.

inside the thermostat housing which is the water inlet to the engine, look for your lower radiator hose and follow it to the engine, you can't miss it.

Drained radiator added prestone Radiator flush refilled and started overheating, drained radiator replaced thermostat and now I get no heat from heater,Radiator water is hot


disconnect the heat hoses going into fire wall , put hose into one with pressure and flush as it sounds like it could be bloked in the heater core,the other thing that could be the problem be the hot ,cold switch as it restricts the flow to makes the heater hoter or colder , it might need tlc or replacing as it is manaul not elec

1995 jeep cherokee heater problems


Get jeep up to operating temp
Turn on heater to max heat
Hood feel 2 heater core hoses goint into upper passenger side of engine compartment firewall.
They should feel too hot to hold
If it's not hot, could be 6 things
1. heater control valve is bad
2. Vacuum to heater control valve is bad
3. clogged heater core.
4. Bad thermostat
5. Bad waterpump
6. Needs more coolant (check when system is cold)

Do these things:

1. Disconnect vacuum line from control valve and feel under valve to manually move valve to open position. This should let hot water flow through core. If you now have heat inside, replace the heater control valve. Or you can disconnect the plunger on the heater control that is hooked on to the silver bar on the bottom of it. With it disconnected you can manually move it to the open position. It will always remain on.

2. When system is cold, disconnect both heater hoses going to heater core. hook up a water hose to one side of heater core and flush out any gunk. When you get done, the water should run clear. If you see lots of gunk come out, that was probably the problem. Replacement is like $20-30

3. When system is hot and engine running, squeeze the upper radiator hose (using gloves) when you release it you should feel a surge of water. Proves your water pump is working. If no surge, check thermostat. If thermostat checks good, look at the weep holes at the bottom of the water pump for traces of antifreeze. If you see a trace or stream of coolant, indicates bad pump.

4. As far as testing the thermostat, watch as your engine heats up on the gauge. when it gets to a certain point you will see the temperature rise, then lower, then rise again. This means your thermostat opened properly, cooling the system temporarily, then heated it back up. Replacement is around $5

Try these and see how it goes.

3. The valve from the cooling system to the heater core is stuck
4. Your heater core is clogged

No heater is not heating inside of car kia 2002 spectra


If the fan is blowing and the heater is set to HOT and very cool yo warm heat is all that comes out you will need to first need to replace the coolant thermostat...It is probably stuck open...

My heat works on the passenger side and not the drive i've changed the thermostat and still the problem hasn't changed


If you have good heat on one side, it can't possibly be the the thermostat. Good heat on one side means that there is plenty of hot water (water and antifreeze mix) circulating through your heater core. The thermostat controls the temperature of the water. If you have hot water, the thermostat is not at fault. Your Impala is equipped with what is called "zoned climate control". All the inside air (both sides) is still heated by the same heater core. The difference between a "zoned" system and a conventional system is that there is more than one "blend-air" door insided your HVAC housing. The blend-air door swings back and forth to direct the incoming air either through the heater core (for hot air) or around the heater core (for cold air) The drivers blend-air door may be broken or the motor that moves the blend-air door is malfunctioning.
