A code reader will not work to reset those warning lights. You will have to take it in to the dealer to find out what triggered them to come on,End to clear them.

SOURCE: ESC ABS light stays on is there a recall on 2006

if there is a recall the dealer will send you papers to inform you, what probably happened is you hit the brakes really hard, locked them up and it blew the abs relay.

esc is electronic stability control. without the abs sensor working the esc can not work proper as it can not read the wheel speed.

SOURCE: check engine light and ESC light stays on, no driving power

For some reason, the ESC system "thinks" the drive wheels are slipping and it is trying to prevent the tires from spinning.
Take the car to your local Auto Zone and ask them to scan the car for trouble codes, they will do the scan for free. Write the codes down and respond back to this post and we can start to diagnose the problem.
Good luck and let me know.

Abslight stays on. How to fix? This is a2007trailblazer?

First you need to have EBCM - electronic brake control module check for DTC'S - diagnostic trouble code's . If the light is on there is a code stored . I think most part stores can do this and for free . After you find out what code is stored , looking up that code in service repair information for diagnostic trouble shooting chart would be next step . There are a few codes too.
DTC C0035 or C0040
DTC C0045 or C0050
DTC C0110
DTC C0131
DTC C0161
DTC C0186
DTC C0196
DTC C0201
DTC C0240
DTC C0241 or P0856
DTC C0244 or P1689
DTC C0245
DTC C0283
DTC C0287
DTC C0290 or C0292
DTC C0455
DTC C0550
DTC C0558

Find the code do the diagnostic's , fix the problem , wiring issue's , a sensor , bad module ,what ever it is . The light will go out then . Here is a sample of code discription .
• DTC C0035 Left Front Wheel Speed Sensor Circuit
• DTC C0040 Right Front Wheel Speed Sensor Circuit

How can i reset esc and abs dash light

The warning lights will stay on until the problem with the stability control and anti lock braking system is addressed and rectified.

If the warning lights are still showing there is still a problem with the system such as faulty wheel sensors.

Reset esc on patriot

you cant.
if they set, the auto clear if they stop failing
RTM did you read the opearators guide, yet> it say that.

first off, get the brakes fixed.
both those systems, require, good brakes.

lets say one pad is bad.
so the ABS can not control this wheel.
so since ESC uses ABS then it too fails. so forget ESC, that is last.
the FSM covers the scan tests.
scan it.
did you even scan it? if not , maybe there is a DTC error
that needs to be addresses.
like ABS sensor RF is dead, or reading wrong or my gosh,
the pad there is toasted.
or grease on the rotor?

not doing a full brake inspection now, misses the boat

My abs light stays on and my airbag light also stays on, I took it to the local ford dealership and they found nothing wrong. Is there a reset switch to rest it

Nothing found? That can't be can buy a OBDII tester for under $20. With that you can read and reset the codes. The dealer can also do this for you. if there is a code and it reoccurs then there is a problem somewhere. I would then take it to a different dealer. Autozone also would do a OBDII test for you and reset the codes. if after 3 times the dealer tells you "nothing found", you need to look at a lemon law and keep documentation of "Nothing found". This could be a serious safety issue.
if this is helpful, please give a thumbs up so it can help others too.

Break lights are flashing and ABS light is on. When i put my foot on the break to start the gear shift does not go to drive it stays in park

Check & replace if necessary the brake pedal switch placed above pedals on the support.
If the problem still occurs you might access the ABS ECU (Electronic Control Unit) using diagnostic equipment connected to the data link connector of the car, in order to pull out all DTC (Diagnostic Trouble Codes) memored.
Then you will be able to replace bad piece(s) and fix the problem by erasing all DTC stocked inside ABS ECU & reset it.

Check engine light and esc light comes on no driving power

Replace the brake/stop lamp switch at the brake pedal, also check for trouble codes. Whenever the 'CHECK ENGINE' light comes on, the ECU (Engine Control Unit) sets a Diagnostic Trouble Code (DTC). These codes identify the particular engine management system which caused the light to come on. You'll need to use/find an OBDII (On-Board Diagnostic) Scanner to retrieve any codes which have been stored in the ECU computer. Afterward, we might be able to help you DIAGNOSE and perhaps eventually fix the problem.

Service engine light is on and the ESB light was on

OK!... I assume you mean the ESC light... right? Based on my experience, what you have is a malfunctioning BRAKE LAMP SWITCH... replace it and see if that fixes your problem. Hope this is helpful (since you didn't scan the 'CHECK ENGINE' light issue).Whenever the 'CHECK ENGINE' (Service Engine Soon) light comes on, the ECU (Engine Control Unit) sets a Diagnostic Trouble Code (DTC). These codes identify the particular engine management system which caused the light to come on.
You'll need to use/find an OBDII (On-Board Diagnostic) Scanner to retrieve any code which have been stored in the ECU computer. If, IN FACT, you have a 'BRAKE LAMP SWITCH' code, then you've found the problem and the solution.
