Does a 2011 caddyTDi250 1.6 ltr need the gearbox oil changed when the vehicle has its regular service?its 5 speed manual gearbox, and is there a filter to be changed?

No but check with the dealer or your service/owner manual for the manufacturer recommended gearbox oil change periods.
There is no filter on the manual gearbox .
Whatever the manufacturer recommended period is for a gearbox oil change, change the gearbox oil twice as frequently as recommended to maintain it in good condition. If, for example, a change every 50000 miles is stipulated then do it every 25000 or so.

Check engine light for oil Change required

Each vehicle model will have instructions in the manual to reset the check engine light when oil change service is performed. You can contact your dealer by phone and ask for the service manager to get instructions to reset the light or refer to your user manual or look up your manual on the Internet and view the instructions there.

I want to make an oil change, what brand and rating should I get?

use the cheapest diesel/petrol oil you can buy from supermarket and change oil every 5/6000 miles with a oil filter every third oil change ,Do not use these fancy long life oils but the cheapest you can buy and change it at the most 6000miles ,this will keep the inside of the engine clean for you so engine will last forever

I need to replace the oil pump and the oil pressure switch on a '99 Sebring Convertable but I no longer have the owners manual. I'm looking to find out how to do it and if there's going to be any special...

The owners manual is different than a service manual. The owners manual tells you things that an owner/driver needs to know about the vehicle, like locations and how things work. A service manual is what you will need to get step by step instructions for servicing the vehicle. There are two common service manuals, Haynes and Chilton, but the dealer service manual is the most complete. The Chiltons manual can be purchased at most auto parts stores. I usually purchase these through eBay or Amazon, and get a CD version as they are cheaper and more complete. Hope this helps and good luck :O)

PS check the oil pressure with a oil pressure guage before replacing the oil pump. It is much more common for the oil pressure sending unit to go bad than the oil pump.

Oil boiler reset button not working. ran out of kerosene the other day got a refill but after pressing reset button ... nothing. i know about bleeding the oil ine done it before but seems to be getting oil...

Your Nozzle is probably plugged. I've found that to be the case most times. I work for a oil company and have found when people run out it tends to pull crudd from the bottom of the tank and plugs the nozzle. and while you're at it, you should change the oil filter and pump strainer. Good luck. If your unsure how to do any of the repairs I highly suggest you call a service guy to do it for you. Oil burners can be very dangerous, and can be a supplier of carbon monoxide in your home. Be carefull.

My oil light with a little wrench beside it came on this morning, I have a 2007 chevy trailblazer and I just had a oil change 1 month ago

If the service light is on in your TrailBlazer, open the door, turn the key to ignition position and push the accelerator pedal 5 times, the service light will flash. flash your high beams and you're done.
