SOURCE: 2003 chevy trailblazer....idlind at 600-750 rpms,

The coolant fan clutch or the electric connections to the fan clutch is code1482.

Code 1481 is associated with the coolant fan problem but concerns the PCM having an error.

This error is why your car is stalling. The fan clutch is variable. When it is fully engaged the fan has more resistance and pulls down the rpm. The PCM is suppose to respond to this and raise the rpm for a steady idle. It is not doing it and needs a software upgrade.

The Chevy dealer may have a service note on this problem. The upgrade may be free.

If you clear codes, you can't fix the vehicle,
that removes all data you need to diagnose it

They won't go away until you look up the codes &
how to diagnose them,then component test to find
a problem.

Need professional scanner to check for codes,there
is enhanced data that a code reader won't have access
to & other data you need to look at on a road test

Vauxhall astra 1.7 code fault ecn 189554 going into limp mode

P1895 = Limp home mode - Limited performance
P1481 = Fan Control Circuit 1 - Open Circuit
P1482 = Fan Control Circuit 2 - Open Circuit

it could be there is an issue with the cooling fans on the vehicle, and the ECU is going into limp mode to prevent the engine overheating, or because the coolant temp is getting too high.

First, check all fuses are present and not blown.
