My 2011 Nissan X Trail DCI's A/C & Heater control knob does not work, it was stuck when i drove so i forced it and heard a snapping sound, i know it might be broken now but where can i

Pull the stereo fascia off and see if you can check what might be broken. You're probably going to have to pull the dash off though, be careful not to snap clips as you remove it.

Try use a repair manual for removal/installation notes.Check the HVAC & body section

Nissan XTRAIL QR20 OIL PUMP NOT WORKING

New oil pumps will not work until they are primed . Pull the pump and remove the gears cover Fill the space around the gears with Vaseline / grease and replace the cover/pump. When the engine starts to spin the gears will move the Vaseline out into the oil galleys and create a vacuum which will suck up the oil. The Vaseline/ grease will disperse back into the sump with no ill effects. Ensure the oil pick up pipe is securely in place.

How do i get my gear knob off bmw 325i

Some gear knobs have a set screw on them. Look at the base of the knob all the way around knob. If there is no set screw than it is on just tight with thread lock. You will need to use some force to remove. You also need to turn in a counter clockwise motion to remove.

Removing and fitting a new gear knob bmw e46 318i man trans

Hi joserosa if this is a manual gearbox you just have to grip the gear knob and pull upwards until the gear knob is removed, the same principle is applied for a auto box but hold in the release button while removing, regards Mark.
