How to work about my new UPA

I buy a UPA. It unable to read from MOTOROLA MCU,If you can have some secret reading, such as MOTOROLA SCM MCH68hCF1?I put it in equipment adapter, be careful in McHc11f1 above MOTOROLA MCU, but prompt said: can read, but always display 0000 . It looks like from the picture you have a leaking radiator hose/connection. Remove, clean, inspect, replace hose if needed, or tighten connection.

Can I install my kdc mp342u stereo in a 2004 toyota corolla. I have the wiring harness already just not sure if it will work. Thank you to anyone who can help...


all radios work if not OEM and bricked (code secret lost)
they sell an adaptor for your car that fits the stock harness, at
all autostores and even walfart.

buy that ,read the instructions, easy peasy city,

the phyiscal , i refuse to guess, only electronics.

read the brake chapter?
same as the front, it is, so never done brakes before, is that it?
the only uniqueness is step4
all steps work on most cars until step 4.

  1. jack it up, use stands
  2. wheel off
  3. calipers off, and tied up per FSM (they unbolt.....)
  4. remove secret bolt at rotor center. see it? at 7PM
  5. the plug at 11am , is for inserting a 8mm screw to force off stuborn rotor, seen on most suzuki's 92 to now.l
  6. now remove rotor.

I just bought a new turn signal switch for my 2007 jeep grand cherokee how come my turn signals wont respond


2007? WK, (i own a 2010 with all docs)
same car.
REDUX
it dont work at all like a 1993, back in the day of running power through switches to run things.,
or with banks of relays, to fail.
every year,less relays like we did long ago in industry, (pure electronics)
i deleted all my fsm quotes.
it's to wordy.. (but accurate to a fault)
it's now networked + brains (puters),

the network map is below.
if you look at said map, the CAN-BUS network.

is a 2 wire, network for all communications
saving a ton of wire. (times all WK made world wide)
What happens is , you turn the switch
and it has this binary/resistance mux logic in the switch that goes to the SCM brain.

the SCM knows what you did, and converts your actions into a data stream, "a command".
to the can-bus.
it arrives, (if lucky)
to the FCM and the cluster brain CCN. (IP)

the cluster sees that and flashes the click sonic device, and flashes the blinker icon, lamps.
If you can't heare that ,this means the command was never arrived.at CCN.
the FCM hears this command and it in turn drives
the blinker bulbs on the 4 external lamps.

does hazards work, that be first fact to know..
and that FCM fuses, must not be bad.

we scan it next. to see if there are errors
on the can-bus.
or FCM sees garbled data
or CCN errors.
or more.... lots more,
or FCM not responding,

the FCM is over $800 so doing the diagnosis correctly can save a lot of cash.
guessing here can exceed $2000.

SRS light comes on after engine is started and stays on. i have a 2005 honda accord 2dr exl. ( only happens some times and after driving without it on, it will come on when i pull into my garage driveway?)

what does it say, , it says, take it in. to Honda Service.
if wanting to work this system DIY, (your kidding?)
then buy the FSM. and read that. read every page on SRS carefully. its no joking matter.

but do not play with the system with your body in front of the bags
if they deploy, it can kill .
so, buy the FSM and read it. read the 1st step
that is how to defeat the bags for car service. do that first.

if you just pull battery (engine) Neg lug, not PLUS.
for 15min or more, letting the SRS fully discharge.
it my reset,
but you just lost the radio codes. so step zero , in the op guide.
is to get and write down the radio code, (secret)
if not radio will be DOA.

did you read the operators guide.
or go to dealer and ask for help with this?
the guide is in the glove box, read the part on radio codes, and do what is says there , putting glove box secret code card in home in a safe place.
and what is next, windows BSOD'S? LOL.

Does the pcm or ecm have a skim module secret code, if a 2002 jeep wrangler did not have the theft module installed at the factory,If not how does the dealership get a code to program the Ign. immobil


great question, wana Read the shop manual for free, ?
it answers all this, its a rolling encrypted secret code.
bad idea
says it all, YOU DID.
now the system sees you hacking,
and bricks it.
there is only 1 fix. dealer time. or a shop with same tools.

they must be all married or they self brick
its also law here in use, DOT bs, rules.
not jeeps fault < GOV BS.

When a PCM (JTEC) and the SKIM are replaced
at the same time, perform the following steps in
order:
(1) Program the new PCM (JTEC).
(2) Program the new SKIM.
(3) Replace all ignition keys and program them to
the new SKIM.
PROGRAMMING THE PCM (JTEC)
The SKIS Secret Key is an ID code that is unique
to each SKIM. This code is programmed and stored
in the SKIM, the PCM, and the ignition key transponder
chip(s). When replacing the PCM, it is necessary
to program the secret key into the new PCM
using the DRBIIIt scan tool. Perform the following
steps to program the secret key into the PCM.
(1) Turn the ignition switch to the On position
(transmission in Park/Neutral).
(2) Use the DRBIIIt and select THEFT ALARM,
SKIM, then MISCELLANEOUS.
(3) Select PCM REPLACED (GAS ENGINE).
(4) Enter secured access mode by entering the
vehicle four-digit PIN.
(5) Select ENTER to update PCM VIN.
NOTE: If three attempts are made to enter secured
access mode using an incorrect PIN, secured
access mode will be locked out for one hour. To
exit this lockout mode, turn the ignition switch to
the ON position for one hour, then enter the correct
PIN. (Ensure all accessories are turned off. Also
monitor the battery state and connect a battery
charger if necessary).
(6) Press ENTER to transfer the secret key (the
SKIM will send the secret key to the PCM).

(7) Press PAGE BACK to get to the Select System
menu and select ENGINE, MISCELLANEOUS, and
SRI MEMORY CHECK.
(8) The DRBIIIt will ask, “Is odometer reading
between XX and XX?” Select the YES or NO button
on the DRBIIIt. If NO is selected, the DRBIIIt will
read, “Enter Odometer Reading (From I.P. odometer)”.
Enter the odometer reading from the instrument
cluster and press ENTER.
PROGRAMMING THE SKIM
(1) Turn the ignition switch to the On position
(transmission in Park/Neutral).
(2) Use the DRBIIIt and select THEFT ALARM,
SKIM, then MISCELLANEOUS.
(3) Select PCM REPLACED (GAS ENGINE).
(4) Program the vehicle four-digit PIN into SKIM.
(5) Select COUNTRY CODE and enter the correct
country.
NOTE: Be sure to enter the correct country code. If
the incorrect country code is programmed into
SKIM, it cannot be changed and the SKIM must be
replaced.
(6) Select YES to update VIN (the SKIM will learn
the VIN from the PCM).
(7) Press ENTER to transfer the secret key (the
PCM will send the secret key to the SKIM).
(8) Program ignition keys to the SKIM.
NOTE: If the PCM and the SKIM are replaced at the
same time, all vehicle ignition keys will need to be
replaced and programmed to the new SKIM.
PROGRAMMING IGNITION KEYS TO THE SKIM
(1) Turn the ignition switch to the On position
(transmission in Park/Neutral).
(2) Use the DRBIIIt and select THEFT ALARM,
SKIM, then MISCELLANEOUS.
(3) Select PROGRAM IGNITION KEY’S.
(4) Enter secured access mode by entering the
vehicle four-digit PIN.
NOTE: A maximum of eight keys can be learned to
each SKIM. Once a key is learned to a SKIM it (the
key) cannot be transferred to another vehicle.
(5) Obtain ignition keys to be programmed from
the customer (8 keys maximum).
(6) Using the DRBIIIt, erase all ignition keys by
selecting MISCELLANEOUS, and ERASE ALL CURRENT
IGN. KEYS.
(7) Program all of the ignition keys.
If ignition key programming is unsuccessful, the
DRBIIIt will display one of the following messages:
² Programming Not Attempted - The DRBIIIt
attempts to read the programmed key status and
there are no keys programmed into SKIM memory.
² Programming Key Failed (Possible Used
Key From Wrong Vehicle) - SKIM is unable to program
an ignition key transponder due to one of the
following:
² The ignition key transponder is faulty.
² The ignition key transponder is or has been
already programmed to another vehicle.
² 8 Keys Already Learned, Programming Not
Done - The SKIM transponder ID memory is full.
² Learned Key In Ignition - The ID for the ignition
key transponder currently in the ignition lock
cylinder is already programmed in SKIM memory.

NO spark.


double check all connections and make sure they are completly seated and locked into place, other than that buy a new ignition module and try that if it doesnt work you can always take it back for a refund. also make sure the firing order is dead perfect.
