If the belt jumps time due to wear on the teeth then it plays heck with everything, and the engine will run like do do.

Where is the water pump on a 94 Mitsibishi Mighty Max

great question , WHERE.?
The answer is usually on the front of the engine, so the fan belt can spin it.
its a pickup , RWD PU.
no engine options stated.
here is the list. each are different.
2.0 L G63B I4
2.4 L 4G64 I4
2.6 L 4G54 I4
2.5 L 4D56 diesel I4
2.5 L 4D56 TD I4
3.0 L 6G72 V6 (4WD) on most engines see the fan belts.

the on going NOT TO THE P/S and A/C and Alternator

Missmatched belt teeth or grooves. Wrong belt for the car installed. Worn waterpump, or bearings for cam.

Broke roller rocker on a 4d56 turbo motor

that would most likely be from either over reving or the lifter collapsed and causing the pushrod to collapse or bend

How to time the timimg belt for a 1995 labaron v6 conv put a new water pump in need to set the timimg belt how do i line it up

get the #1 piston top dead center, then line up the camshaft gear and the crank gear to line up with the timing marks on the engine after you find those marks slip the belt on making sure all the timing marks havent changed then check to see if the tensioner for the belt is set with the proper tension then check to see if the belt isnt slipping remember it will be spinnig at high RPMS

Symtoms of a bad timimg chain/belt...but ran real

Problem is not solved but I did change the fuel filter, coil pack,ICM and have proper fuel pressure to the motor. Car starts but dies right away. I cant seem to find out if the fob on the key ring has something to do with stopping the motor. This fob says Radio Key by Secure Key with a number 35077 stamped on this thing.. Still trying to find out what this is and does it effect the cars ability to run

96 quest.. possible timimg, stopped running at 30mph

check possible broken timing belt by....
removing the distributer cap , and having someone try to start the car .
While it's trying to start , the rotor should be moving... if it's not
timing belt is broken
It's a big job for someone without great skill and a great selection of car tools
