SOURCE: 3rd seat belt in a jeep wrangler

Bolting it in a third row seat? that'd be fairly easy...just need something solid to anchor it to (like a thick piece of metal) on the underside to put the bolt through. do the same with seat [lap] belts and that should solve any law issues (actually some states i believe don't "require" rear seat passengers to be belted in, but I'd strongly suggest it for the kids safety!) big question is where are you finding enough room for a 3rd row seat? wranglers aren't exactly loaded on space...

as for torque...wrangler seats are fully removable (makes it easy to wash mud and stuff out) so as long as the bolts tighten down (air gun preferably, but you can arm twist em if need be) you'll be fine, just make sure everything is as secure/sturdy as the factory seats

SOURCE: a support under the driver's seat in my 2004 Jeep

Since you are unsure what is broken I can't tell you how to fix it. BUT, You can go to just about any scrapyard and look at the seats they have, first to see what yours used to look like before it broke and then, if it is anything that will need welding etc, possibly to buy the seat you looked at (not terribly expensive compared to some repairs)

I removed the drivers seat on my 2004 z4 to clean the carpet, after i put everything back together the air bag light came on how do i get it to turn off

You will need to take the car to someone with a diagnostic machine ,when you've removed the seat I'm assuming you've unplugged some cables ? If not you could have disturbed the wiring under the seat that controls the airbag which requires a diagnostic machine to reset the light
Hope this helps Nick

Manually move power seat

I'm having this same issue, I"m the only one who drives the jeep and its just an extra vehicle, really don't want to put that much money into it if I can just manually move the seat to the furthest back setting.

2004 liberty power seat don't work can't find any fuse in owner's manual that's label any way related to the power seats

The seats are not fused they are on a circuit breaker. In the dash fuse block located on the end of the dash on the drivers side you should be able to see 2 metalic looking "fuses". Those are the circuit breakers. Circuit breaker 1 is for the power seat. You can try swapping them and see if the seat works. If it still doesn't work than you will need to check for power and ground at the seat.

You should be able to find a connector under the seat that has a red with light blue wire and a black with white wire. The red with light blue should have power all the time. The black with white is the ground.

Let me know what you find or if you have additional questions.

I want to know how to change the interior carpet in a monte carlo ss. I've already purchased the interior carpet

Just remove the front seat, mid console box, and door plastic trims. If everything is taken off, you are ready to put the new carpet.
Hope that helps you out.

I have a 2004 Chevy Impala and the radio is not putting out any sound. The display works but no sound.. Any ideas on whats wrong?

I also have a 2004 Impala with the same problem. I searched the computer and found that a connection in the wiring under the carpet and behind the passenger seat gets corroded from the floor being wet. I'm in the process of removing seats and carpet to find this problem and hopefully fix it. I'm sure that your door chime quit working too.
