The temperature should be running in between 200 and 210 degrees and the easiest thing and cheapest would be to change the thermostat try that out and let me know also if you get a chance if you can rate me if your satisfied.

Thanks,
Steve

180 - 200 is normal for most. 130 is not hot enough. verify your temp reading using an alternate instrument. Even witout a thermostat, it should b running hotter than 130 unless you're in sub 0 weather

Power window doesnt work on my 2003 buick redezvous

On Buicks, the motor controls a wire cable that runs through plastic pulleys inside the door.

Based on the year, and I am assuming that this was an occasional problem with a slowing of the openeing and closing as the car aged, I think you need a replacement. It is not that simple to do, a repair shop should charge around $190 for parts and labor

What is the average temp. of a 1800 vw running at 55mph.?

240 is a bit too high... 190-200 is more like it... check your fan switch and see if it kicks on at 190 and off again at 180... if not replace it... if it's good then suspect the t-stat or a radiator clog. Also, timing that is advanced too far will make it run hot (and is very bad for the engine!) Hope this helps ...;-)

Heater switch only has hi speed

This was wrong with my 01 Stratus and it was the blower motor. Between the part and the labor to have it fixed, it was around $130.

Heater problem

I had one of these at my shop recently and I fixed it by replacing the heater control panel. I went for the resistor first with a known good one and it didn't take care of it. I bought a new heater control panel and that took care of the problem.
