How do I remove cabin air filter 2009 dodge grand caravan

in my 2004 grand caravan it's behind the glove box and left of the blower motor. disconnect the wires first then remove the 2 screws to pull out the resistor unit. First make sure you have removed the negative of your batterie. I had the same pm that prevented the blower motor to operate in any speed. I hope this will help

The air filter is located towards the bottom of the engine compartment on the drivers side. It is hard to see if unless you know where it is. To get to it start by removing the two 8mm or 10mm screws which hold a piece of plastic duct work to the radiator support bracket. Next loosed the two worms clamps which hold on the round intake duct work to the engine. All of this is located on the drivers side. After these clamps are loosened remove that portion of the intake, you will have to pull a black tube off of this portion of intake also. Just remember to put it back on later. Now you should be able to see down inside the engine compartment. You will see a black box on your right side. The cover for this box is held on by metal clips. When you unclip these clips this cover will open and expose the air filter. Simply pull the air filter out and replace it with a new one. Installation is the exact reversal of this procedure. The air filter for the cabin is located inside the van, look under the glove box door there should be a plastic holder that slides to the rearward of the van pull this back and a flat plastic door will come off, the door is two parts.

Some base vans do not have this filter if you look at the bottom of this and see a 1/2 long plastic stud sticking out of the bottom there is no filter in this.

On the passenger side somewhere below the glove compartment, you should see a bracket that you will need to slide out towards the seat and then pull it off. The filter is located behind this.

The filter is longer than the distance between the floor and the unit, but it bends.
