SOURCE: 1991 chevy lumina will hardly run

DTC - 22 Throttle position sensor error (signal low), is tps connected?
DTC - 23 Intake air temp sensor error (low temp indicated) check and make sure the sensor is connected
DTC - 43 Knock sensor error, ignore this for now, will not cause rich run.
DTC - 53 System voltage too high, check reference voltage from PCM, it should be around 4.5 Volts, this could be the cause of all your problems, the computer will need to replaced almost for sure.

SOURCE: 1997 Camaro, Z28 Car is running rich, flooding out and fouling

Depending on how many miles are on the car, I would bet you have a stuck or failed fuel injector, or multiple injectors that are leaking. Check EBAY, there are usually lots on there for sale used. They are very easy to change.

the temperature sensor often causes symptoms such as this. it incorrectly tells the computer that the engine is cold and needs a rich mixture which results in black smoke and hard starts. another cause for such a condition is fuel injectors that are dribbling rather than atomizing fuel spray.

Car starts and blows black smoke and use a lot f gas and want idle.

Your car is running very rich, meaning the cold start sensor may be blown. a car uses a sensor to see how cold the engine is as the colder the engine the more fuel it needs.

Running rich and blowing black smoke

Could be a number of different things.Fuel pressure relief valve not working, injector pulse too long,Is the air box lid securely fastened and air cleaner clean. Are there no leaks between the air box and throttle body(intake tube).Have you checked oxy sensor.air flow meter may be also possible.Try squeezing the flexible fuel hose enough to allow the engine to run and see if the engine reacts better if it does you have excessive fuel pressure.
