SOURCE: thermostat location

On a GM six clinder it is in the housing that the upper radiator hose is hooked on the upper intake. It is very difficult to remove with the exhaust cross over pipe in the way but is possible with some time.

SOURCE: Were is the thermostat located in a Pontiac Sunfire 2000?

Hi:
Your thermostat is located under the thermostat housing, which is what the upper radiator hose clamps to on the top of your engine. Basically, you need to start with a cold engine, drain your radiator, then unclamp the upper radiator hose from the engine. Remove the bolts from the thermostat housing, and gently tap on it to remove it. clean up the mounting surfaces on both the engine and the housing, and install a new thermostat, and new gasket. tighten to proper torque, reconnect the radiator hose, then refill up the radiator and cooling system.

Temperature gauge on the dashboard falls to zero while while driving my Pontiac 2010 G3 wave yesterday. Can anyone help with the sensor location in the engine and some suggestions on how to fix this ?

The sensor for coolant temp. will be located in the thermostat housing or intake manifold close to the thermostat housing. It will have 1 wire plugged into it. Apply Teflon paste to threads of new sender before installing. Do not over tighten. Make sure coolant level in radiator is correct.

Where is oil filter located in the G3 is it a cartidge or canister filter?

That filter is a cartridge filter that is located on the side of the block. There is a cap with a nut on top that should be removed to access the filter. The AC / Delco part number is PF2257G. (I am a GM dealer so this info is correct)

Where are sparkplugs located on 2009 pontiac g3 4 cyl

There is a cover in the middle of the valve cover with four bolts holding it on. Unplug the module on the driver side of the cover, remove the four bolts, and the cover will come off. The spark plugs will be underneath.

Horn is not working Where is the horn located on

Hello PS442.

If yours is the hatchback you need to remove the front grill. It is in behind it.
On a notchback model it is in behind the left headlight. It also will need to be removed for access to the horn.
I hope your repair goes well. Thank you for using FixYa.
