Two areas will cause a leak you can here, the first and most common is the power brake vacuum booster, it leaks when the pedal is pressed. The other is the vacuum control valve for the heater/AC system in the dash.

Transmission leak out dipstick and hear vacum leak

The vacuum leak is not from the transmission, there are no vacuum lines hooked to the transmission it is fully electronically controlled. As far as the fluid goes is the transmission overfilled? Does it operate normally? To check the source of the vacuum leak get a can of Carburetor spray and spray it around the noise, when you hear a loud sucking noise and the engine slows down struggles and starts to stall then you found the leak.

Hear air when I hit the brake on my 2007 scion tc I hit a median 2 weeks ago

Brake booster uses vacuum to operate, so when applying brakes you hear a vacuum leak. Could be bad booster of some other vacuum line that you hear when booster draws vacuum.

Small vacuum leak showed up on auto parts machine. need a vacuum diagram. best way to locate the leak. we tried with a special doctors hearing device but did not hear nothing

The easiest & quickest way I have found a vacuum leak and I am in the business is to get a can of carb cleaner. When the engine is running start spraying along all your vacuum lines and connections. Also along the throttle body or carberator and around the intake manifold. As you're spraying if the lidle of the engine changes then you have found the general area of the vacuum leak. From there on you can begin to narrow down the location until you find the source of it. I hope this helps and good luck.

I hear big vacuum leak on 2001 elantra not any hoses

If you can "hear" a vacuum leak then the performance of the car would be greatly affected and the engine would idle much higher than normal. Normal idle speed is around 800-1000 rpm, Check you dash tachometer. If you have a vacuum leak the idle will go up to 1200-1500 rpm.
There are lots of places beside hoses that can leak vacuum such as the EGR valve or around intake manifold. But check that rpm's first to confirm what you are hearing is a vacuum leak.
You can also purchase a vacuum gauge form your local auto parts store. they cost around $20.00+. The gauge should read a steady 15-20", if less, then a leak is indicated

Black smoke runs badly, fuel pressure regulator or temp sensor?

look for a vacuum leak. A large vacuum leak will do just what you described. I would listen for a leak first if you cant hear it and locate it then i would spray carb cleaner around the vacuum lines. If you have a leak it will pull the carb cleaner in and you will hear the engine rpm change.

Vacuum leak at base of steering column the part is half moon shaped and white what is it called

Run the vehicle at idle and turn off engine. Step on the brakes with the engine off and listen for vacuum leak. If you hear hissing with the brake pedal depressed it's the Brake vacuum booster......In the same area there is a parking brake vacuum release switch which leaks only with the car is in idle. If this is leaking your automatic parking brake will not release your parking brake automatically in drive.
