2002 Lincoln navigator hard to start when it cold outside

My car start up good when it warm outside but now the weather have change it will not start when it cold out side.

fuel air or spark.. dead miss one one or 2wo cylinders indicated ..check plugs /wires / injectors timing and vacuum leaks ...good luck

could be a defective distributor cap(crack in it allows moisture in...moisture displaces the spark from where it needs to go).
You could try to replace the distributor cap and rotor.

this is simply a fluid issue try draining steering fluid and replacing it make sure to start car after top up and turn steering full lock a few times in each direction and top up to max as required done

Front air suspension does not pick when it is cold outside


cold weather causes metals to shrink and plastic and rubber parts become hard brittle more likely you have leaking air line or o ring to air spring causing all the air leak out of air spring.

I HAVE A 2002 LINCOLN NAVIGATOR AND SOMETIME WHEN I LEAVE IT RUNNING IN PARK...THE EHAT WILL BLOW OUT COLD...(EVEN WHEN CAR IS WARMED UP).....WHEN I START GOING DOWN THE ROAD IT WILL START BLOWING HOT...


Have the shop check out the cooling system. I think the problem is a bad thermostat and the engine is running colder than it should. If you were in the desert that wouldn't be so bad, but the motor still needs to run at it's best operating temp.

1992 toyota tacoma pick up will not start when it is colder outside. Usually when the temp is closer to 0 degree's. When it warms up outside there is no problem.....


Do you have a good battery? Cold weather is hard on batteries. Also you may need to change to a winter grade of oil. Oil thickens in the cold a makes starting difficult as well. Let me know. Thanks.

very likely to be the thermostat needs replacing(to test,wrap a piece of cooking foil around the radiator/front grill and see if the heatup time is less,if it is, then its the thermo.) easy,yes.....

Engine wants to stall in cold weather


I don't beleive this is a weather problem. Try tuning it up and see if it helps. Good luck
