  1. Disconnect the oxygen sensor connector.
  2. Using an ohmmeter, measure the resistance between the terminals +B and HT. Resistance specification: 11 - 16 ohms at 20°C (68°F).
  3. If the resistance is not as specified, replace the sensor.
  4. Reconnect the oxygen sensor connector.

Why the codes po125 & po135 &po155 keep coming back?

Hi there:

DTC P0125 - Insufficient Coolant Temperature For Closed Loop Fuel Control

The simplest thing to do is to reset the code and see if it comes back.
If the code comes back, the problem is likely going to be the result of the above causes (faulty thermostat, faulty ECT sensor, or a low coolant level).

DTC P0135 - Oxygen O2 Sensor Heater Circuit Malfunction (Bank 1, Sensor 1)
or
DTC P0155 - 02 Sensor Heater Circuit Malfunction (Bank 2 Sensor 1)

A code P0135 and P0155 may mean that one or more of the following has happened:

  • O2 Heater element resistance is high
  • Internal short or open in the heater element
  • O2 heater circuit wiring high resistance
  • open or short to ground in the wiring harness

In order to solve just...
  • Repair short or open or high resistance in wiring harness or harness connectors
  • Replace oxygen sensor (cannot repair open or short that occurs internally to sensor)

  • Hopoe this helps.

Were is the 02 heater censor found on a 2003 chev. p.u a code comes up po135 ive replaced the ones on tye exhust

You will have 1 on each exhaust manifold coming from the engine and 1 on each exhaust pipe near the catalytic's which these are the ones you say you replaced. So the others will be on the manifold.. This po135 should tell you if it's (bank 1) or Bank 2. Call you local auto zone and they should be able to tell you which it is.

    2003 Toyota Sienna dtc p2125

    Hi,

I have not come accross a P2225 error code on a Toyota (Sienna). Best I can gather is this error indicates "NOx Sensor Heater Sense Circuit Intermittent (Bank 2)". on an OBDII Code Reader.

Hope this be of initial help/idea. Pls post back how things turned up or should you need additional information.

    Good luck and kind regards.

    Thank you for using FixYa.
