Question about 2000 Dodge Caravan
Before you start you need to make sure that you have the sticker with proper routing of the belt to install the new tensioner and if not make a picture of it this will save a lot of time. next if you haven't already purchaced your part i would recomend any auto part store it will be cheaper than the dealer.most tensioners can be removed with a 3/8 or 1/2 ratchet or breaker bar to fit into the slot on the tensioner. pull one way or the other to release the tension and remove the belt off the pully then you will need a socket or wrench to remove the pully then install new part and belt, check to make sure belt is on all grooves and pully before starting.
