Question about 2001 Kia Rio
Failing alternator or battery.
Using a volt meter, check the battery voltage across the terminals with the engine running. If lower than 13 volts, then replace alternator.
I'm assuming the alternator drive belt is adjusted correctly and the engine idle is above 500 revs.
