If your interior light is dim when you turn the key to try and start it, then you probably need to jump start your battery. Know more about diagnostic tools for your car.

A ford territory 2006 that won't start, even after replacing battery?

check for battery voltage at the large terminal on the starter. THere should be power at all times.

Have a helper turn the key to the crank position while you check for power on the smaller wire at the starter. There should be power anytime the key is in the crank position.

If there is power at both terminals than the starter is bad. If there is no power at the large wire check your battery connection. If there is no power at the the small wire you will need to trace it back to its origin.

When I TURN MY KEY to start my car looses all power from the fuse block when I TURN THE KEY off the power back in the fuse block is back . how do I FIND A SHORT?

This is common. Most vehicles loose peripheral power when in "Crank" mode to put all available power to the starter. When you return the key to the "ON" position power is routed back to the non-essential starting systems.

Key doesnt start the car

If you can turn the key, the problem is electrical. If you can't turn the key,is ignition look cylinder.buy new cylinder with the key. disconnect the battery, turn the cylinder to run position and push the look pin on the cylinder with small punch and pull. insert the new one and you are ready to go.
If the cylinder turn and don't start,is electrical.
with one hand turn and hold the key to starting position with other hand shift slowly from PARK to NEUTRAL. I the engine start ,adjust the neutral safety switch
For next you need helper.
one person start with the key and other with test light check if power go to the starter solenoid. if power go to the small wore, replace the starter

Turn ignition on but car wont crank..it will start if u turn key on and jump the solenold

The starter solenoid is bad or the ignition switch is bad. Check the solenoid to see if it is getting power. If the solenoid is getting power then the solenoid is bad. But if the solenoid is not getting power with the key in the start position, then the ignition switch is bad.

92 cadilac deville gets power when you turn on the key, but won't crank when you turn the key to start.

If getting power means that the lights on the dash come on, that's not enough to start the car. Begin by checking the battery voltage and contact surfaces on both battery cables and terminals. Also check connection at starter and block ground. If you find nothing there, check power at trigger wire (small wire) on starter with the key turned to start position. If there is 12v there, likely the starter is bad.
