SOURCE: in cabin air filter

its most likely located behind the glove box. which usually comes unhinged fairly easily from its open position stoppers. then there would be an access panel to remove to get to filter(s)

SOURCE: Front struts replacement

Jack up and secure front end of your vehicle,Take off two front wheels. Loosen to bolt on the bottom of struts (Its a bolt and nut). Remove clip that holds brake hose on to strut and remove hose. DO NOT OPEN BRAKE LINE OR DISCONNECT FROM CALIPER. Remove bolts and remove bottom of strut from knuckle/Hub assembly. Then loosen nuts on strut tower( on top of fender inside hood) (3) nuts, mark exact locations of each nut on strut mount area on upper fender weld. Make sure to hold strut on the bottom so it doesn't drop down on caliper and knuckle or on you possibly.YOU WILL NEED A SPRING COMPRESSOR to compress spring so you can take struts off. MAKE SURE THAT SPRING IN COMPRESSED/SQUEEZED WITH A STRUT COMPRESSOR. Then loose center nut on strut tower(may be covered with a circular rubber cover) If nut spin around with out getting loose use vise grips to hold strut rod ONLY TO REMOVE STRUT NOT TO INSTALL. if you use vise grips to install it will damage strut. When nut is off, remove strut and reinstall new one transfer all rubber boots and cushions from old strut. Good Luck thanks for using contact me if you need more help.

Need to remove a glove box lock from a 78 chev corvette

if you can open the door, there is a small 'window' on the case inside the glove box. With a pointed tool (paper clip?) there is a tab you need to push in through the window. While holding the tab down, spin the cylinder to remove. If it is a locking cylinder, while pushing the tab down, insert the key. This will hold the tab down. Then you can turn the cylinder to remove it.

I need help! i have my alarm on valet mode and i dont know how or why its that way. how do i tke it off!!!!!!!

I have read the owners manual to my 2002 altima and the only reference to a Valet setting is it came with a key called the "valet key" (go figure) which would only run the car and not the trunk or glove box. There is a switch inside the glove box , but I haven't found the use in the book yet.

Hi. I recently lost my car key and I'm wondering if I would be able to knock out the ignition switch and start it that way. Is this possible with a 1993 altima?

Only in the movies, I'm afraid. Does one key do everything on this car? I believe it does. If so, remove the lock from the glove box, if it has one, and take it to a locksmith to make you a key. Any easily removable lock cylinder on the car will do also, such as the trunk lock.

Locating VATS module under dash

It is located above th glove box you will need to take the upper dash pad off and the glove box asbly out and the module is attached to the dash reinforcement at the top of the glove box vats modules very rarely go bad it could be the ing lock cylinder ck for contanuity of the 2 wires at the bottom of the steering column in the orange insulation with the key in the lock cylinder and ohm meter across the 2 wires you should get an ohm reading then turn the lock cylinder and if the wiring goes to open the wires are broken and the lock cylinder needs to be replaced.
