Question about 1989 Toyota Camry
This happened right after changing fuel filter, I pulled efi relay and turned key over 3 or 4 times to depresurize fuel lines, b4 changing out filters, this seems to have caused a clog or something else

The fuel pump should run for a second or two when you first turn the key on, but then shuts down to prevent the engine from flooding if the computer does not get a signal from the crank or cam sensors which the computer uses to trigger the ignition system. So no spark no fuel. Check to see if you have a spark in the ignition system.

hi there, try changing out your starter, and see if that works, usually if it wont turn over that is the cause.....if that does not solve it, it could be a eletrical problem...the battery cables might be loose in there conection to the battery or there housing spot......hope this helps...if nothing works you'll need to take it to a shop.... shia
