The heater is called a heater core, it uses the coolant from the engine to get heat, there is a fan that blows over the core to heat the car. If you look for coolant hoses that go to the firewall, then you will see where the core is, most cars you change it from inside the car under the dash. Sorry I don't know if this is correct with this model, so either wait for someone who has done it, or go to a parts store and ask, sometimes they know, or check the repair book for you car, but some of them are covered so you can't just read it there.
