SOURCE: Dash lights and taillights out fuses all ok

In battery junction box or the under hood fuse panel check fuse no 11(15amp),it will be at the center of the fuse box where there is 4 fuse slots but looks like only 3 fuses, if this fuse in good then you will see a relay that is shaped kinda like a cross. This is the parklamp relay which also powers the dash lights.

2007 pontiac G6 plate light not working. Put new bulb in and still don't work. Is there a fuse to check?

the license light works off of the taillight circuit. check for power and ground at the socket, if you don`t have one or either then you will have to check the wire from the socket to find out were the lose of power to the wire is and repair.

No taillights

I would still buy new tail light bulbs just so you know its not that.if it isnt then there should be relays under the hood. the cover should locate what relay needs to be pulled. good luck

2007 Expedition no rear taillights or license plate lights. One fuse under hood was blown(25amp) replaced it and checked other fuse and relay-all good. Still no taillights??

Either the bulbs need replacing (minor electrical surge) or you have wires grounding out prematurely. Check the all the fuses one more time, there could be something directly related.

My taillight indicator light are showing on the dash. I then check the taillight and the light are not coming on. When I step on the brake the lights comes on, but when I turn on the switch it is not...

You need to check for a blown fuse or a bad relay. If you find a relay identified for taillights, swap it with another relay and see if the lights will com on. If they do then replace the bad relay with a new one.

Inside dash lights and tail lights won't turn on in my '95 Isuzu Rodeo, what can I do?

My 97 Rodeo had the same problem. No Tail lights, no. Dash lights. There is also an annoying buzzer that goes with the set telling you the lights are on, there is no key in the ignition and your door is open. (you don't notice it when it's gone but you sure notice it when it's back)
The Fuse (taillight Illum) was good, The Light relay under the hood was good and all bulbs were good.
What fixed this problem was replacing the tail light relay which is located in a panel just to the left of the brake pedal also called the kick panel.Inside there are 3 relays. I replaced the one in the middle and got everything to work.
If you need to identify the relay you can put your hand over it and then turn the lights on and off. The correct relay should click. Mine was the middle one.
Hope this helps someone because it stumped me for months.

When my headlights are on, my dashboard lights dont work

check dimmer for dash lights... and toyota kills dashlights if the taillight fuse is blown. so check taillights. sometimes the trailer connector will short out. :) good luck.

My 2007 GMC Z71 Has no taillights or license plate lights. However my brake , hazard, and turn signals all work. What happened?

The tailight markers and plate lights are wired together. A fuse to the marker lights or sometimes called, park lights, may be blown. You may have a naked hot wire rubbing metal. Sometimes SUV's have trouble with trailer light plus also that ground out the circuit.

Need to replace the fuse for the license plate lights on 1998 Ford Expedition. What number is the fuse?

Hi,

Fuse # 4 (5A) in the fuse panel powers the Park Lamp circuit.

If the fuse is ok, then you'll need to inspect the relay, or check for a short in the circuit.
