SOURCE: Chek Light on Honda 1997 accord

Next to the "Maintainence Light", towards left, there is a small rubber thing on the lights covering the control panel.

To change the Check light back to the normal green color "insert your ignition key into the rubber and press in" this will reset to the normal position.

I did it today morning. Please ask me if you find it difficult. I can send a picture. It is very simple.

SOURCE: 2000 Daewoo Laganza no compression

You are more likely right to think you have done some damage to the cylinder head. If you have no compression on number 2 & 3 cylinders then I would take the head off and inspect and recondition the head. You may also have damaged the pistons or rings. Anyway with out looking for any damaged parts, you will not find what parts you will need. I would get a workshop manual for the vehicle to help you. Also if you decide to rebuild the engine, fit a new timing belt.

SOURCE: I just replaced all timming

Chances are pretty good that you can't. The timing is electronically controlled through the on-board OBD2 computer Sorry.

you can take a 15 mm bot out the center and remove the tension-er assy. The bolt is in the center of tension er. You may need to replace the belt. You need to pay attention to how it comes off, there is a diagram of the front of the engine compartment

How to replace alternator belt

Find the belt tensioner bolt and loosen it. There will probably be two other bolts that need to be loosened (just loosened not removed). Move the alternator to its " most slack position" pull the old belt off anf fit the new one. Push the alternator with a broomstick or something similar to tension the belt. (Be sure to push against a solid part of the alternator or you could break it) tighten the tensioner bolt. the tension should be set so that you can push the belt in about 20mm between the pullies with your finger. If the new belt squeels when you start the car the belt is too loose. Tighten the other two mounting bolts.

i think it may be one problem and that is the belt is slipping off, more then likely it is the tension er pulley. There should be an adjustment to be able to apply more tension and I think once this is fixed the lights will stop blinking. i hope this helped Tim

How do you replace the auxiliary drive belt? The car was running fine and just stopped and I found this belt broken and car will not start now.

You need to give a bit more info, did any lights come on in the dash.
this belt does the alternator and power steering it should not stop car running. If the cam belt breaks it would.
Replacing aux. belt is not bad job but you will need diagram to show route, it will be a two man job as the tensioner will need to be pulled back with a spanner.
hope this helps

My 1997 audi a4 the ignition key is stuck. what

OK first thing- Car has to be in park to pull the key from the ingnition. if it is and you still cant pull it, rock the wheel back and forth alittle (sometimes the columb lock doesnt lock properly and you cant release the key until it locks, rocking the wheel usually fixes this problem). and the last possibility is that the tumblers in your ignition have broken, when this happens you cant pull the key from the ignition because you cant turn the key back to the off possition all the way. when this happens you don't want to pull the key because you risk not being able to put it back in the ignition later and are forced to replace the ignition so you can drive your car. However if the tumblers are indeed broken you will have to replace the ignition anyway, atleast by leaving the key in it you can still drive the car until its replaced

How do I release the tension pulley to remove and replace the serpentine belt?

it requires either a long wrench or a socket or just a ratchet, look at the tension-er to determine that, then just move the tension-er in the opposite direction of belt tension to release it, it is spring loaded.
