My 2008 silverado won't start battery is charged

No, it isn't an ignition issue.

Check power to the starter motor solenoid.
If this is getting power when cranking, then the issue is with the starter motor solenoid or starter motor. Replace.

MY PLYMOUTH GRAND VOYAGER 'S HEADLIGHT'S AND DASH LIGHTS WORK, BUT THE ENGINE WON'T TURN OVER. THERE IS NO SPARK COMING FROM THE ELECTRICAL WIRES.

When you say no spark, are you talking about the spark plugs, or just the general wiring?

If the engine won't turn over, then it isn't moving, and if it isn't moving then you need to check the following in this order:

1) Does the battery have power i.e. around 12.4 volts or over? No? Charge, test or replace battery.

2) Do the car's head lights dim considerably if turned on when attempting to crank? Yes? Possible lack of battery charge or faulty battery.

3) Assuming the battery is fine, can you turn the dash warning lights on and off with the key? No? Faulty ignition switch.

4) Is there a click sound when you turn the key, but no starter motor spin? Check starter motor connections or replace starter motor.

If none of the above prove to be of help, then please report.

How can i get the 2 other cylinders working ? do i need a new computer ? the ground cable was loose and sparked a bit reconeccted but now 2 cylinders won't work so now i took out the car computer

Try swapping the coils on the plugs to see if this restores spark to those cylinders. If it does, then just replace the coils which aren't sparking.
If it doesn't work, then yes, you may have a ECU issue.

What is a vsc light

You have a system fault or malfunction that
need to be diagnosed in the VSC function
or that part off the system a code may point you to

Only a trained tech will have an answer to why
something isn't working & only after the problem is found

You won't know what to ask & they won't tell you if you
go to a dealer. A repair shop may work more closely
with you if your in need of knowing alot & I would suggest
you always be part of the solution & educate your self or
else do your vehicle repairs

No fuel pressure

You should check the electrical system i.e do you have spark at the spark plug ends? If no then work on this. If yes then remove the spark plugs, put half a teaspoon of fuel into each cylinder and put the plugs back. Try starting the engine. If it does then fuel isn't getting to cylinders. If it doesn't then you need a valve or complete overhaul job,

2005 sedona won't start all of a sudden. Doesn't make a sound except for a tiny whirring sound like the feul injectors. Replaced starter...still won't start. checked all fuses...they are good....

you could just have dead cell in the battery which isn't getting enough amps to the starter,, have the battery LOAD checked,, that will tell you if the battery is actually good, just because it registers 12 volts isn't necessarily an indication that the required amps are present.

How do u put a 1994 Pontiac Grand Am 4silnder in 1993 Pontiac Grand Am V6?

Thanks for choosing FixYa Matt and welcome. The only way this is possible is if you change out the transmission and the engine compartment is the same. Everything has to hook up correctly. In order to do so, you would have a lot of modications that would run you at a high cost. It is possible, but a lot of work. Plus, you would have to get a transmission for the four cylinder. It won't fit a six cylinder. In order to make it work, you would need someone qualified. It isn't worth it considering the cost.

Cylinder 3 and cylinder 5 misfire detected. How do I fix these and is it usually pricey to fix.

You won't likely have 2 bad coils, even with 2 codes

The coils are less than $100.00

I personally have no idea why anyone would pay
hundreds of dollars for a 15 minute job to change
a coil

On my Lincoln I have seen people on this site
spend up to $2,500 at dealers & not have
anything resolved ( My cost $59.00 + tax)

You best bet is buy 1 coil & try in one of the
cylinders with a PO 301 thru PO306 code

If the misfire is still there put the old coil back
where it was & move the new one to another
cylinder.

That isn't what the pros do,but for $69.00 it works

Only 3 cylinders work how much will it cost to repair

No way to tell until someone identifies why the 3rd cylinder isn't working. It could be something as simple as plug wires or a coil pack. It could be a Crank Position sensor being faulty. You just won't know until you do some testing. Do a compression check and see if you have good compression and eliminate valve and ring problems. If the compression is good replace the plugs and wires and work your way through the system.
