Need to get a scanner to see what trouble codes are the ECU memory. Check engine light on dash is diagnosis with a scanner for this concern. More likely a sensor or sensors by the age of car are at the end of good performance.

How to change the engine oil for 2001 Toyota opa?

It's pretty simple:
1. turn engine off.
2. Jack car up on jack stands so you can safely get underneath it.
Do not just jack it up. Cars fall off jacks all the time and kill people.
3. remove drain plug from bottom of engine.
4. catch oil as it comes out in a pan of some kind.
5. If you're also replacing the filter, remove old filter now, and put new one on.
6. replace and tighten oil drain plug
7. add correct amount of oil.
8. start engine, and check for leaks.
9. use dipstick to check that you have correct amount of oil in.

Good Day, I was looking at a 1998 Toyota Ardeo Vista. It has done 112,000K but was surprised to hear the engine making a different noise. The mechanic said that was normal for the ardeo d4 vista engines...

if its making any sort of metalic knocking noise then leave well alone ,could have been run out of oil or coolant hence funny noise and someone is trying to pass it on as it blow up before long and they dont want to get stuck with paying out on it
