Where is the oil pressure sensor/ sending unit located ?

Look near the oil filter on the four cylinder engine. Look back behind the intake plenum near the firewall on the 6 cylinder.

Change oil filter

some are hard. my v6 is a PITA. I have GV2004
on stands front.
left wheel off.
in the fender well see small V crack. see filter through crack.
nice huh?
then from below, and bit rear, and look up see filter, on left lower
side of engine block.
I have 2 tools , one to take it off, and one back on,
I attach the 1st crushing tool, and fit a 12 inch 3/8" extension ratchet
to the crusher, then take off the filter. (big mess happens)
then put it back with my wrapper type tool. sameway. 3/4 turn from touch down, as the filter box flap states. (all tools are 3/8" Drive)
i sure miss my I4 engine, and 5min work. G16B is tops. and 28mpg.

Put oil in an it pours out tha oil plug is in so where could it be leakin from

Are you sure it's leaking out the oil plug ? or is it leaking from the oil filter ? sometimes the gasket to the oil filter sticks to the engine block and it will leak like a heck, let me know what year, make , model, engine size.

I have a 94 sidekick . my oil light keeps blinking , and my oil is full .

there is a dohickey screwed into the engine block, probably near the oil filter location, called the oil pressure sender. get one at a parts store and replace yours. hopefully that fixes it as if it doesn't it means your engine's internal oil pump is not pumping enough oil. to replace that pump often means taking the engine down. it is a 16 year old vehicle and all mechanical parts eventually fail.

Leaking water need to find engine diagram for location of freeze plugs

What size engine?? Most of the time, freeze plugs are usually toward the bottom of the block. on a V6 or V8 there are usually 2 on each side of the block. About the size of a 50 cent piece, you pop a hole in the plug with a punch or phillips head screwdriver and pry it out. Drain the block first though. I forgot it once and regretted it.....alot. LOL Good luck

There is a black section (size of fifty cent piece) on the screen.

It sounds like someone pressed their finger very hard on the screen and damaged the LCD. The only way to fix this is replace it. You can find replacements used on ebay for 100-200 bucks.

Oil filter broke off

Absolutely its a common problem with the Quest the filter housing sits low with the filter and if you bottom out it can break. Fit a few myself. Best option go to the junk yard and buy the oil filter unit/housing unit. Just a few bolt and a seal and the job is done. Good Luck
