Check your battery cables make sure they are clamped tight if nothing i would look into changing your asd (automatic shutdown relay) the name is missleading it gives power to the starter and accesories

Car won't start

A mechanic would check for voltage at the starter, the neutral safety switch, and the key switch. Also check the ground connections.

Hi, what you hear is probably the starter relay which may have burned it's contacts. See if you can find it and swap it with a similar one. If the relay is good, the problem is the brown wire from the relay to the starter solenoid. Please let me know if you have more questions, and thanks for using FixYa.

Actually had this exact problem, coming out of the firewall on the drivers side, in the wiring harness there is fusible link, it will be in between the battery and the firewall, check there first then try the relay

My 1991 plymouth acclaim went dead and won't start. I dont't have fire to the distributor?

I had the same problem with my 1991 Plymouth Acclaim 3.0 liter engine. Check to see if your SBEC (computer located next to car battery) has gone out. Replacing it should solve your problem.

How hard is it to replace a stater on 4 cylinder acclaim

Not too terribly hard. You have to disconnect the battery, remove the two wires running to the starter, then the 2 bolts that hold it in. You will need to have it on ramps, or a lift to get it from underneath.

1995 Plymouth Acclaim Won't Start

It is most likely the fuel pump. pouring gas down the throttle body will not start it, it will just flood it. try spraying a carb cleaner in the throttle body in short 1 or 2 second bursts while some one else cranks it, it should start.
