Hi,
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
goodluck!

SOURCE: My Toyota Crolla 98 cars' Malfunction indicatore lamp is on, .

It simply means there might be an issue you need to resolve but not necessarily a problem.

Take it for a scan is the best advice but you could also remove your battery terminal for 5 minutes and replace back.

Rate this please.

SOURCE: 2006 PT Limited. Engine Malfunction light is on.

First off, it's NOT the crank position sensor...Unless you've pulled the motor recently!
Get down to Advance Auto Parts and buy a car of "SeaFoam" ($9) and add it to your tank per instructions...drive AT LEAST 100 miles...problem should go away.
If not, your O2 sensor in the exhaust (x3) is faulty...look to spend $200-400 depending on your mechanic...DO NOT GO TO THE DEALER!
Good Luck

My Nissan Quest 2000 did not want to start. Ii is now working fine.

your very welcome always remember to go slowly and think about all the possibilities and most times you will come to the conclusion of what can be causing some of the problems with a car or truck they are mostly all the same but like cakes they come in different flavors EX. models but the starting and charging ,fuel ,cooling ,& brake systems are mostly the same design it might be in need of a different tool here & there and some of the steps you have to follow to fix them might be slightly different a good repair manual will guide you along the way in your quest to keep your vehicle running and keep repair bills down and keep you driving on the road instead of standing on the side of it waiting for high priced help preventive simple maintenance will go a long way and the common sense of working on a car safely will help you be your own best friend always over rate jacks & jack stands do not cut corners for $20.00 equipment from walmart get a good hydraulic jack 3 tons and some stands rated the same or better for all 4 wheels remember you will at times be underneath your vehicle and you need to be 1,000,000 % sure that you will be O.K. I always use 4 stands & 2 jacks on level ground always on level ground this way if something does happen a jack springs a leak I have enough back up with the other jacks & stands to keep me safe and try to have someone else with you just incase you do need help or something from the auto parts store so you don't have to start over again & once again do your work safely no jewelry no dangling loose fitting clothes a loose shirt will pull you into the engine if it gets caught on any moving part EX. turning belt alternator power steering electric fan that's why you must go slow & use common sense & you will be find you'll see you will become more aware of what you are doing & how you should do it and always try to not work on a running engine its O.K. to listen for noises but keep your hands and arms away from a running engine even though you are careful about clothing and jewelry a sharp pain or a cramp or some one scaring you can be devastating be aware at all times of what is around you EX. vehicles kids on bikes & skate boards animals anything is possible and you should be on the look out for them its your responsibility to keep your self safe good luck I've taken this time to right this for you & everybody else who will take on the repair work to try to help themselves in this day & age of very costly auto repairs once again safety is the first thing you think of when you are starting your repairs & don't be afraid to ask some one questions auto parts person or a mechanic or look it up on the net the amount of info out there now is amazing good luck LATER MAN!

How to bleed 2010 ford flex brakes?

Always start from the longest brake line and work your way to the shortest. There are several methods. Pedal pumping, Vacuum draw bleeding, gravity bleeding, and Power bleeding with a pressurized cylinder.

If you have never bled a brake before, you should probably try to watch a Video on YouTube or some other media. Some autoparts stores have CD's on various repair subjects. They cost about $8-$10.

If you have never worked on brakes before, it is something you should watch someone do before trying it yourself. There are some repairs which do not require bleeding. I advise people that unlike many repairs on a car, you might cause an accident if the brakes do not work correctly.

Car starts and then shuts off. The problem is the is the security system for the ignition system. Is there a way to bypass the security system?

It is ALOT cheaper to get the security fault repaired then to try to bypass the system. It is a veryyyy time consuming task and doesn't always work.
