Need location of crankshaft position sensor on 3.0 engine 2002 ford taurus
Its located in the front of the engine mounted to the timing cover near the crankshaft pulley.

here are illustrations of the CKP (crankshaft position) sensor in 2.3L and 3.0L.
Note: In the bottom of the 2.3L drawing says Trottle Position (TP) Sensor, this is wrong, It should say CKP Sensor.
The Crankshaft Position (CKP) sensor is located to the left of the crankshaft pulley.

The Crankshaft Position (CKP) sensor is located just behind the crankshaft pulley on engine block.

SOURCE: where is the egr valve
I dont think it has one... there is a sensor on the egr pipe that telsl the computer if the egr is operating or not. Its the PDFE sensor, it looks like a little box with 2 hoses on the egr pipe.
