You need to remove the steering wheel (you will likely need a steering wheel puller) and the wheel lock collar (snap ring holds it in place) then remove the signal switch plate.....on the left side of the steering shaft there is a single screw remove it and the ignition switch will slide out(you may need to rotate the switch to the run position.)
hope this helps......Thanks for choosing FIX YA!

I have a 1992 chevrolet cavileir and i have no spark and i changed the wires, plugs and the coils . and when the car was runnining it had no power like it was only running on 1 cylilinder if u no what it...

this may be caused by a bad crank sensor or an ignition control module, remove the ignition control module and take it to an autopart store like a napa auto parts, there it can be tested, if that tests good then check the crank sensor.

1992 lumina starts, sputters, then dies. replaced the coil packs, plugs, wires, map censor, cleaned the maf censor. any ideas?

About the only things that you have not changed that would cause that problem are the fuel pump, the ECM, (Engine Control Module) or if your vehicle has one it could be the ignition module, and here is an image of what the ignition module will look like, and not all applications will use one.
