My tails lights and odomether ligths dont work.

I personally prefer hard-copy and have either Haynes or Chilton for each of our vehicles. One or the other (probably Chilton - Haynes doesn't yet list the Scion line) will be found in just about any auto parts store and cost between ~$17-$30 US. The two lines are owned both by Chilton and I wouldn't be without one or the other. They are both based on a complete rebuild and have info on anything you can do at home and more.

1st ...that should be covered under 6 year 50k power train warranty from the dealer.
But if your over....you need to unbolt the right side motor mount (on the water pump side) and lift the engine some with a floor jack to get clearance,

There is a little cubby by the drivers left knee pull the cubby out a fuse pannel is located behind that cubby, change the "ACC" fuse which should be a 15 amp fuse

I just looked at my '04 xB. It looks very straight forward.
loosen the bolt that holds the alternator to the bracket.
carefully slide the alt to the bottom. (Also be aware of the plug and wires on the alt.They should never hold the weight of the alternator. You dont want them breaking prematurely.)
Pull the belt off, remove the belt from the crank shaft pulley.
Do the reverse, and you will have replaced the belt.
Make sure to check the belt in about a week or so.
New belts will stretch over time. Make sure you keep the tension tight enough to work correctly, but not so tight that the alernator shaft is warped.
I usually place the new belt on both pulleys and give a good "medium" pull on the alt while tightening. Find the middle of the belt and squeeze them together, depending on the type and length of the belt, there should be about 1/4" of flex on both sides.

There is a short to ground in your tail/park light circuit. If your blazer is equipped with a trailer hitch, the first place I would look for the problem is in the trailer wiring. Otherwise, the circuits need to be traced from the fuse to the tail lights and/or all of the park lamps to find out where the short circuit is located. Whatever you do, DO NOT put a larger fuse in the fuse block. This will result in your vehicle burning to the ground. (I have seen this several times and it isn't pretty)
If you have a full-size Blazer, it should be a 20 Amp fuse. This fuse also powers your cigarette lighter, so check there also for a problem.
If you have an S-10 Blazer, it should be a 20 Amp fuse. This fuse also powers the courtesy/dome lamps.
