Could be dirty abs sensors attached to your brakes. I would clean them with brake parts or elecronical cleaner.
Other possibility is a faulty ABS system.

the stalk should have no interference with the abs or esp set up what i would look at doing is checking your abs sensors they can go all of a flash...goodluck

the only way you will find this out is to have a diagnostic machine plugged in and the fault memory read to check what fault is logged, it could be anything from a ABS wheel speed sensor to a control module fault, to save money in the long run i would advise you get the fault memory read first. hope this helps

no it wont. in order for the air bag light to go off you must get a VW air bag resetter. they sell for about 45 bucks. it will reset the light and crash data. since your airbag light is on the airbags are locked up. once reset they will work again. anymore questions give me an email... firstname.lastname@example.org
