Question about 1990 Nissan Maxima
There is a grinding noise when I try to start the car. It will not turn over - just the grinding noise. I think I need a new starter. Where is it located?
Climb under, lookfor the bell housing it will be very close

Jack up the car and put jack stands under the drivers side..
crawl under ther and look and you should see the starter. it has electrical wires attached to it.. good luck ray
