SOURCE: 2002 Chevy Trailblazer Engine Codes

This is actually an easy swap out. Remove the electrical connection, remove the retaining bolt and pull out old one. I believe the sensor is located in the front passenger side of the engine on this particular model.

SOURCE: need to change the cam shaft position sensor but

the sensor is behind the lower pulley and the wire usually run down behine the water pump and serpintine belt. two bolts hold it on and it is best to degrease it first. You may want to remove the right front tire to get at it since it is basically right above the oil pan near the cam

I have a code P0013, What is that? How did it happen? and how can I fix it?

The P0013 code is the cam shaft position sensor, The other code is related to brakes. The engine in your car is not the type to have CVVT on the cam so it is likely that the sensor may be bad or the wiring to it is damaged or corroded.

I would like to know if the cam sensor and the crank shaft sensor are one of the same or two different items

They are two different items. The cam sensor reports the position of the cam shaft(s) which operate the valves. The crank shaft sensor reports the position of the crank shaft, ie the position of the pistons.
