SOURCE: Head bolt torque specs?

I really really really hope you turned the bolts an additional 90 degrees after torquing to 22 Ft-lbs. Otherwise, you may be taking that head off again.

Best of luck,

David

Need to add transmission fluid to 5 speed manual transmission on 1992 Toyota Celica

Open the hood up. You will find two different types of sticks, one near the alternator to the belts side, which is yellow or white colored and one on the battery side. It is orange colored, round small cup like dip stick, secured with a safety lock on it. Press the lock a side with your thump and take the stick out. When you push the stick inside it will sit in place firmly with a click sound.
You can add the Automatic Transmission Fluid (ATF) here.

92 Toyota Celia starts and runs but won't move

Double check fluid level while engine running and warm.
If it's full...?.
A: No Fill to level and try to drive.
A: Yes then ask a person to help to shift to drive and watch the shift cable. It pull the transmission shift handle or not...? If it move ou pull.
it's time to rebuild. If it doesn't move. The cable slip off. hook it back on

Automatic toyota celica doesn't like changing gear

There is a couple of things to check for here and to also be warned about. I do not know the mileage of your vehicle but I have done a bunch of transmission jobs where the customer changed their fluid and it caused the transmissions to start acting weird due to age and mileage. Not saying that is what is wrong just something to keep in mind.
The other thing is to make sure you have installed the proper fluid, proper weight and make sure it is not over full.
The symptoms you are explaining sound like it is possible that you may have over-filled your transmission fluid causing it to burn off and cause slipping.
Let me know if that helps at all. Also feel free to write back on this post with an update or if you have any questions about the same thing.

I have an orange light with a oil can picture but its not the oil light an the coolant and windscreen wash is at the right level thanks

transmission fluid level is low, if it isn't the oil light, but as a precaution, check the oil level anyway just to be sure. If it is an automatic transmission, I do believe it would be the transmission fluid being low. check your fluid levels.

Cv axle replacement in a 1994 toyota celica gts

Jack up the car, remove the tire, you'll need to remove the axleshaft nut, disconnect the strut from the wheel hub. You can pull the wheel hub towards you. This should give you enough room to get the outer CV joint out of the hub, you may need to take off the brake caliper, and tie it back for more room. You'll need to use a pry bar to pop out the inner CV joint out of the transmission. Some stores rent a tool to use to remove the inner CV joint from the transmission.

ATF for 1994 Lexus GS 300

I know from experience that you should only use manufacturer recommended fluids in your transmission, Especially toyota, they are very peculiar about the fluids you use in them. Although the fluid you put in it may not cause any harm, it is always best to use the fluids recommended.
