SOURCE: where is the inline fuse for the alternator on a 2002 ford explor

I see two or three, the schematic shows two in series coming of the wire from the battery junction box to the back of the alternator and a third coming off the second wire,it's a tough call because schematics even factory schematics aren't always right but either way follow the wiring from the back of the alternator, and you should find them.

How to access 2002 ford explorer control module

To locate the BCM remove the passenger side instrument panel insulator.Disconnect the negative battery cable. You should be able to see the BCM tucked up behind the dash panel. Will have three wire pack connectors. You have to reprogram the new one when installed. You can not get another, from a salvage yard and make it work. Either go to dealer, or someone who can reprogram it for you. God-Bless!!

ALL POWER WINDOWS INOPERABLE

The power windows in this car are controlled through a module commonly called the BCM. When a problem like this occurs you need the Ford dealer to use a special tool and scan the BCM and run it through self diagnostic test, then it returns the findings of the test in the form of fault codes. You may have a defective BCM.
