I have a 2000 caddy deville. my moter shake only when im stopped and not when i drive. i did a tuneup and it still shakes. can i be a bad coil pack or.......?

try checking the throttle body and look for lose hoses anywhere near it it might be a lose EGR valve anywhere near the throttle body. when disconnected or gunky or just plain out broken EGR's will cause the car to have a very rough idle.

What is P1320 manufacturer code

I found a thread on Maxima.org relating to the P1320 error code. Specifically, 2000-2001 Maxima's have had this problem. It seams as though everybody agrees that the error is caused by the ignition coils. We've never had ours changed, so I'm doing that. Nissan was going to charge me approx $600 (plus tax) for parts and another $180 for labor. The job take a whole 30 minutes to replace the 6 of them, and you can get the 6 ignition coils at O'reilly's for $325. I changed three last night and the car seems to be doing better. I'll replace the other 3 tonight and see what happens.

Also, when testing the car, the car seems to "shake". I'm not sure if this is related to the P1320, but if we turn off the AC the "shaking" stops.

Hope helps (remember rated this).

Enigine shaking and rough take off

If the plug wires were off there's a good chance that you have fouled a spark plug or two causing the engine to misfire making it shake. It sounds like a good tune-up might be in order.

It sounds like you might need to replace your motor mounts, or get a tier allignement done. The allignment you cannot do yourself but the motor mounts you can this requires you to place a jack under you engine and undoing the motor mounts then replace them and take away jack.

It sounds as if you have a cylinder missfire. It may be caused from a bad spark plug or plug wire, it may also be a faulty coil. I would start by having these items checked, if they check out ok then proceed with a compression test on all cylinders.
