First check and confirm that transmission fluid is not leaking or got low.If its low then make it full. Also see if the filter is clogged or worn our or very old.If it is then replace the filter. The filter is inside; you have to pull it out and take it apart. There are also many other facing the same problem,In some cases the transmission needs to be reprogrammed as the computer to transmission is not getting detected. In some cases the transmission needs to be rebuilt . Get the transmission assembly scanned and retrieve the codes and replace the part as per the codes. --------- Get it checked.Keep updated.Thanks.

SOURCE: where is the automatic transmission dipstick

Dip stick comes out of dip stick tube coming from transmission (side of trans) Look real hard on the side of the transmission behind the engine you will see it.

The second issue sounds like a neutral safety switch.

SOURCE: I am trying to locate my transmission fluid

Your transmission dipstick should be just below and in front of the air filter on the drivers side, just to the right of the engine block, sometimes it has a black handle and its hard to see. Good luck

Where is the dipstick for the transmission fluid for a mercedes clk350?

The dipstick is located near the back of the engine near the engine firewall (on top). Also its a red color. You shouldn't miss it. It is not true that you don't need to change the fluid for 200,000 miles like someone said above. Mercedes recommends changing it at 50,000 miles and that's when I had mine done to protect my warranty by following the guidelines.

Where is the transmission dipstick ona 2006 clk350

If the vehicle has a 7 speed Automatic gearbox then there is no dipstick for the customer to check. You will have to take it to a dealer and the car will have to be cold for them to check it properly.

Where is located the transmission dipstick in mini cooper 2006

There is not a dipstick for the trans oil. The only way to check the oil is to drain it out and refill.

I need to know where I can find a diagram on where to mount the dipstick tube for the transmission

I could be way off here but...
Most Ford Explorer's and Expedition's and the like DO NOT have a dipstick for the transmission. Nor do they have a drain plug.
Ford decided that too many people were destroying their transmissions by adding too much fluid and additives. So, from at least 2002, the owner has to take the vehicle to a Ford dealer or a transmission shop for service. For what its worth, the fluid and the transmission's have been engineered to be service free for 100k to 150k. Hope this helps.

Where is the trans dipstick for a 05 ford 500 AWD Limited Edition

For the 6 speed auto trans the dipstick is located behind the radiator support, to the left of the air cleaner box. The dipstick is a round yellow plastic towards the bottom of the transmission. The exhaust manifold is slightly above it, so be careful not to burn yourself.

Where is transmission fluid located? Where is stick to check?

Transmission fluid is located inside the transmission fluid pan. It is checked and added through the fill tube. The dipstick is located under the hood. You have two dipsticks, one for engine oil and one for transmission fluid. On some models, the dipstick for the transmission fluid may be located under the engine cover in the cab of the van between the driver's and front passenger's seats. If you simply cannot find two dipsticks under the hood, it's under the engine cowl.
