SOURCE: i have a 2006 chev.

P0495 "Cooling Fan High Speed' = the fan clutch has failed, time for a replacement. This is unrelated to the water pump problem and it's a well know problem in 2003-2008 Trailblazers. Be sure to only use the new , modified part - number 15293048. Any other part number will only be replacing the bad part with another potential bad part.
P2119 Throttle Actuator Control Throttle Body Range Performance = the throttle box is severely dirty or gummed up or even defective and it will have to be fully cleaned or replaced. This is usually caused by impure gases from the evap system so check it also. Also check for a faulty throttle body actuator or sensor or a faulty pedal sensor.

Came Back ?

If you clear codes, you can't fix the vehicle,
that removes all data you need to diagnose it

They won't go away until you look up the codes &
how to diagnose them, then component test to find
a problem.

Need professional scanner to check for codes, there
is enhanced data that a code reader won't have access
to & other data you need to look at on a road test

P0495 & p0128

I am thinking you are on the right track. A noisy, wobbly fan has to be replaced and replacing the thermostat could reduce the fan speed as the problems are interrelated.

I got the code PO 495 on my 06 chevy trailblazer. What does that means?

Your fan clutch is likely faulty, unfortunately, not uncommon and a bit expensive.

This is your fan clutch, that's what P0495 is, your clutch is not working properly. Therefore, it sounds like a jet because the fan clutch is constantly engaged. Very common from 2002-2--2004 TB's. Need to borrow some specialty tools like fan clutch wrenches from say Autozone, some Autozone's charge a fee and refund it when you bring it back. Been there done this with my 03'.

My check engine light is on had the OBD checked and stated a temperature problem autozone suggested to check coolant level first then replace the temperature sensor where is it located?

I had the exact same problem on my 2003 Trailblazer. The check engine light came on, I took my vehicle to autozone and they told me the code was P0495 (cooling fan speed high)but they did't know how to fix the problem.
I called the dealer and they told me that it would cost me $89.00 to reprogram my PCM. I took my vehicle to the dealer and now my trailblazer is working like new. I hope it's that simple, the other thing also that could have gone bad would be the relay to your electric fan. The relay is a not like a normal relay but is more like a module that can regulate the speed of the electric fan which a tech2 scanner can determine if it's bad or not. Good luck
Thank you for using fixya.
