1990 nissan pickup will not stsrt untille preeing the clutch interlock switch on dash, then start up.

try pressing the clutch pedal down at different heights and see if it will start, if so then you will need to adjust the linkages to the clutch pedal. if it still won't start, then you will need to replace the neutral safety switch.

Clutch adjustment

there is no adjustment for a hydraulic clutch, if you have a low pedal u still have air in the system, these are EXTREMELY HARD TO BLEED, suggest you rent a pressure bleeder or have a shop do the bleeding. In any event this is a 2 man job.

Did you or replace the throw out bearing ? Or the clutch has to be adjusted. does it have a hydraulic clutch ? These have to be bleeded like the master cylinder of the brake sytem.
